LBC seem like an awesome idea.
I've recently got a volleyball from my gf! This is awesome! I've been playing lots recently and wanted something i could practice with.
I did some research into them and man... all the different brands have different technologies in their balls. I couldn't decide which one i wanted! There were like pro and cons like, easier to pass, hits harder, softer touch, weird texture, and price.
There was two brands, molten and tachikara!
I've grew up in high school playing tachikara's so thats what i went with. the standard, slightly cheaper full grain leather sv-5wm ball, instead of the gold ones.
I feel like i made a good decision... hmm since i heard molten pro touch balls are a bitch to dig. Especially from big hitters that seem to always penetrate our defenses...
Gosh, I never knew that volleyballs used such different and specific technologies. It's actually pretty interesting that they can all be different like this with their own pros and cons.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I don't have to make the decision to buy one.
Eh. Never truely been a fan of volleyball to be honest. Didn't know Volleyballs had that much work put into them though.
ReplyDeleteWow, this really opened my eyes on volleyballs, thanks. I may never look at them the same
ReplyDeletebest sport in the world. fuck man. almost no movement at all, and can be played indoors.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I hope you keep up this excellent blogging! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there actually was any real difference between balls, but I guess it is just like it is apparently with cars. Not until I had driven two different ones did I realize that they were completely different
ReplyDeleteVolleyball is my favorite sport, I play it constantly. I use a wilson but I will look into this tachikara
ReplyDeleteVolleyball rocks! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love volleyball, but just in the yard with my bros
ReplyDeleteDid not know all that about volleyballs.

ReplyDeleteI hope you made a good choice!
ReplyDeleteI used to play and my brother played at a really good level! A nice ball is always nice to have! good choice

ReplyDeleteIt's never a bad decision to get volleyballs. They are the best!
ReplyDeleteWhoah, that first picture is awesome, volleyballs are more complicated than i previously thought
ReplyDeleteThe volleyballs we had at school were always crap. They were rock solid and painful. D:
ReplyDeletemakes sense. Its like that with basically every item out there. from personal experience: skateboard parts, soccer shoes, game controllers etc...
ReplyDeleteAwesome nice post, I started out with tachi as well then later moved to molten. seems like a lot of people have made the move in the last few years they are so much lighter i think.
